Job Description

Position: Medical Advisor (Therapeutic Area)

Dr. Reddy’s is seeking a qualified Medical Advisor to provide the scientific foundation for the medical strategy within a designated therapeutic area (TA). This individual will manage medical activities and engage key thought leaders to support the execution of the medical affairs plan. The role requires conceptualizing and executing a wide range of medical activities in line with the TA strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a core scientific member of the cross-functional franchise team, ensuring alignment with the TA medical strategy.
Conceptualize and manage medical activities, including research, publications, medical education, and patient support programs.
Engage with key thought leaders through medical affairs activities to support the strategic plan.
Ensure optimal execution of the medical affairs plan, including medical education, product education, and special projects.
Act as a scientific expert in the therapeutic area, providing training on the latest medical developments to sales and marketing teams.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications:

MBBS with M.D. in Pharmacology/Medicine or full-time post-graduate qualification in any medical discipline.

Experience:

2-4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or research company in a Medical Advisor capacity.

Skills & Attributes:

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of clinical trial methodologies, research design, and ICH-GCP guidelines.
Familiarity with Indian healthcare regulations (MCI Code of Ethics, UCPMP Code for Pharma, Drugs and Cosmetics Act).
Strong academic background with expertise in the therapeutic area, research methodologies, and data interpretation.
Strategic mindset with strong scientific acumen and communication skills to engage with leading specialists.
