Primary Responsibilities

✔️ Provide quality team-based patient care under clinician supervision
✔️ Prepare patients for exams, perform vitals, and document intake
✔️ Assist with age-appropriate screenings, suture removals, wound care, and procedures
✔️ Administer vaccines & medications with proper protocols
✔️ Perform phlebotomy, lab sample collection, and processing
✔️ Handle patient follow-ups, referrals, prescription refills, and appointment scheduling
✔️ Ensure infection control and maintain a safe clinical environment

Performance Expectations

✔️ Maintain high patient experience standards
✔️ Protect sensitive patient data (ePHI & PHI) per regulations
✔️ Travel 15%-20% to other office locations as needed (company reimbursement provided)
✔️ Ability to stand, walk, and perform hands-on patient care for extended periods

Qualifications

📌 Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
📌 Licensure/Certification:

  • Medical Assistant Diploma/Certification OR 3+ years of MA experience
  • Active BLS Certification required
  • Valid driver’s license required upon hire

📌 Experience: 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience preferred

Skills & Abilities

✔️ Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
✔️ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
✔️ Knowledge of medical terminology, safety practices, and immunizations
✔️ Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
