Job Title: Medical Coding Analyst – Hospital Outpatient (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
Solventum, formerly 3M Health Care, is hiring a highly experienced Medical Coding Analyst to support hospital outpatient coding operations. Based in Bangalore with a hybrid work mode, this role demands over 10 years of experience and certification (RHIA, RHIT, or CCS). The successful candidate will apply deep knowledge of coding regulations, APC Groupers, and CMS guidelines while providing coding resolutions, audits, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply advanced expertise in outpatient facility coding, editing, grouping, and regulatory guidelines.
Respond to customer inquiries with professional, detailed resolutions and education.
Troubleshoot issues within the 3M/Solventum Coding and Reimbursement System.
Conduct research on complex medical coding challenges using published guidelines.
Build credibility with healthcare clients by resolving coding concerns efficiently.
Participate in quality audits and collaborate with global teams to ensure coding accuracy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher with 10+ years of experience as a medical coding professional.
RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification is mandatory.
Expertise in outpatient coding, CPT, ICD-10-CM, AHA Coding Clinics, and NCCI edits.
Proficient with APC Grouper and navigating CMS for guidelines.
Experience in customer-facing roles and quality assurance audits.
Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with the Solventum Coding & Reimbursement System is a plus.
