Job Description:
The Medical Director at EVERSANA INTOUCH is a strategic role that bridges medical expertise and creative communication. This individual partners with planning, creative, and account teams to craft compelling, medically accurate promotional and scientific content. The role requires the ability to translate complex data into clear messaging, support medical strategy in pitches and campaigns, and lead client and internal education on disease areas and data interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead development of strategic, data-driven medical and promotional content across digital and print formats.
Support business development through participation in pitches and proposals.
Guide the content of KOL communications, speaker engagements, and advisory boards.
Provide medical insights and clinical knowledge to improve content accuracy and depth.
Oversee submissions to medical, legal, and regulatory review teams, and integrate feedback.
Perform competitive analyses and attend relevant conferences to stay current on clinical trends.
Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, MSci) in a medical sciences-related field.
Experience:
4–5+ years in a healthcare/medical communications agency or pharmaceutical industry in medical affairs, scientific communications, or medical education.
Skills:
Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
Proficient in medical literature review and translating scientific data into impactful narratives.
Confident in leading client discussions and internal teams.
Knowledge of European pharmaceutical marketing regulations.
Native/fluent English required; other languages a plus.
