Medical Information Call Center Associate – Remote (USA)

Job Summary

ICON plc, a global leader in healthcare intelligence and clinical research, is hiring a Medical Information Call Center Associate to support drug safety operations. This remote role involves handling medical inquiries, adverse event reports, and product complaints from healthcare providers and consumers. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to adverse events, product complaints, and medical queries

  • Respond to medical information requests from healthcare professionals and consumers

  • Perform triage and classification of incoming case data in compliance with regulatory and project-specific SOPs

  • Conduct follow-up activities by phone or in writing for adverse event reports

  • Maintain and update databases, tracking systems, and standard response documents

  • Create and manage Standard Response Letters and support literature searches

  • Monitor project-specific communication channels including emails and fax


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Licensed healthcare professional (e.g., Nurse, Pharmacist, Physician, Dentist)

  • At least 1 year of experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or medical information

  • Prior customer service, call center, or client-facing experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and organizational abilities

  • Experience with safety databases like Argus or LifeSphere preferred

  • Spanish language proficiency (preferred)
