Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and scientifically driven Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support medical affairs activities, scientific engagement, and healthcare professional interactions within the pharmaceutical division. The selected candidate will serve as a scientific expert and strategic medical partner for healthcare professionals, medical societies, and key thought leaders across assigned therapeutic areas.

This role is ideal for candidates with a medical or life sciences background who are passionate about scientific communication, clinical research, medical education, and stakeholder engagement within the healthcare industry.


Key Responsibilities

Scientific Exchange & Medical Communication

  • Engage with Thought Leaders (TLs), healthcare professionals, and medical experts through scientific discussions and educational interactions.
  • Disseminate and clarify:
    • Scientific data
    • Clinical study information
    • Research findings
    • Medical literature
    • Study protocols
    • Congress abstracts
  • Handle scientific discussions in compliance with local regulatory and medical affairs guidelines.
  • Respond appropriately to unsolicited medical or off-label scientific queries.

Medical Affairs & Advisory Board Support

  • Support and participate in:
    • Advisory Board Meetings
    • Medical Society Interactions
    • Scientific Forums
    • Medical Education Programs
  • Address scientific and medical queries related to pharmaceutical products and therapeutic areas.
  • Collaborate with internal medical affairs teams to strengthen scientific engagement strategies.

Congresses, Conferences & Networking

  • Attend:
    • Medical congresses
    • Scientific conventions
    • Healthcare conferences
  • Build relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Gather:
    • Competitive intelligence
    • Market insights
    • Therapeutic area updates

Scientific Education & Training

  • Plan and organize:
    • Scientific training sessions
    • Educational workshops
    • Medical learning events
  • Support continuous medical education activities within assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Deliver scientific presentations to healthcare professionals and stakeholders.

Thought Leader (TL) Engagement

  • Identify and profile key thought leaders and medical experts.
  • Support development of:
    • Engagement strategies
    • Medical affairs plans
    • Scientific collaboration opportunities
  • Contribute to internal understanding of healthcare professional interests and expertise areas.

Reporting & Activity Tracking

  • Maintain timely documentation and reporting of:
    • Medical interactions
    • Scientific engagements
    • Advisory activities
    • Educational events
  • Track activities against defined medical affairs objectives and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

  • MBBS
  • MD
  • BAMS
  • BDS
  • MDS
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in:
    • Life Sciences
    • Pharmacy
    • Biotechnology
    • Medical Sciences
    • Natural Sciences
    • Or related healthcare disciplines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional certifications in:
    • Clinical Research
    • Medical Affairs
    • Pharmacovigilance
    • Healthcare Communication
  • Therapeutic area knowledge in pharmaceutical or healthcare domains preferred.
