Position Overview

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Haematology & Oncology serves as a trusted scientific partner responsible for engaging healthcare professionals, thought leaders, and key healthcare stakeholders through high-quality scientific exchange.

This field-based role focuses on advancing scientific understanding, optimizing medical practice, supporting evidence-based treatment decisions, and facilitating appropriate adoption of BMS therapies within Haematology and Oncology.

The MSL is expected to spend approximately 60–70% of their time in the field, engaging external stakeholders and gathering actionable medical insights.


Role Purpose

The primary objective of the Medical Science Liaison is to:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Thought Leaders (TLs), and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs).

  • Deliver balanced, evidence-based scientific information.

  • Support safe and effective use of BMS therapies.

  • Generate medical insights that inform strategy and decision-making.

  • Contribute to medical education, research, and patient advocacy initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Scientific Exchange & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with:

    • Thought Leaders (TLs)

    • Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)

  • Conduct scientific discussions through:

    • One-on-One Meetings

Medical Landscape Assessment

Pharmacovigilance & Safety Reporting

  • Identify and report:

    • Adverse Events (AEs)

    • Safety Signals

    • Product Complaints

  • Ensure compliance with:

    • BMS Pharmacovigilance Procedures

    • Local Regulatory Requirements

    • Global Safety Standards

  • Educate investigators regarding safety reporting obligations.


Patient Advocacy & Education

  • Support patient advocacy initiatives.

  • Promote awareness and understanding of disease management.


Required Qualifications

Education

Mandatory

  • MBBS with relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
