Job Overview
GSK is hiring a Medical Science Liaison – Hematology/Oncology to support its medical affairs activities across the North India region. This field-based role involves building strong scientific relationships with healthcare professionals, oncologists, hematologists, and key opinion leaders.

The Medical Science Liaison will act as a scientific expert responsible for sharing clinical data, supporting medical education initiatives, gathering clinical insights, and contributing to the overall medical strategy for GSK’s oncology portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
Engage with hematologists, oncologists, and key opinion leaders across North India through scientific discussions and educational initiatives.

Communicate clinical data, treatment guidelines, and scientific information related to GSK’s hematology and oncology therapies.

Support the development and execution of medical affairs strategies aligned with GSK’s oncology portfolio.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and academic institutions to strengthen scientific collaboration.

Collect clinical insights from healthcare professionals and share actionable intelligence with internal teams to support strategic decision-making.

Support medical education programs, advisory boards, and scientific meetings within the oncology and hematology therapeutic areas.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical affairs, clinical development, regulatory, and commercial teams.

Ensure that all scientific interactions and activities comply with regulatory guidelines and GSK internal policies.

Required Skills and Competencies
Strong scientific understanding of hematology, oncology, and clinical research methodologies.

Excellent communication and presentation skills for delivering complex scientific information to healthcare professionals.

Ability to build trusted relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities for interpreting clinical data and identifying insights.

Ability to work independently in a field-based role while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Education Requirements
Candidates should possess one of the following qualifications:

MD or MBBS
PharmD
PhD or Master’s degree in Life Sciences such as MSc or M.Pharm

Experience Requirements
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Science Liaison roles, clinical research, or scientific engagement within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

Experience working within oncology or hematology therapeutic areas is highly preferred.

Prior experience interacting with healthcare professionals or key opinion leaders will be considered an advantage.
