Job Overview

R1 RCM India is seeking skilled Medical Transcriptionists / Analysts / Senior Analysts to support high-quality clinical documentation across multiple medical specialties. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in medical transcription platforms and a strong understanding of healthcare documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

Transcribe and edit physician dictations with high accuracy across multiple medical specialties
Work on diverse document types including operative notes, discharge summaries, clinic notes, and reports
Ensure adherence to quality benchmarks, turnaround time (TAT), and client-specific guidelines
Collaborate with managers and team members to ensure continuous client coverage and workflow efficiency
Maintain and manage information across multiple platforms and sites
Demonstrate strong time management and multitasking capabilities
Deliver consistent performance in a fast-paced, 24/7 healthcare environment

Required Qualifications

Education:

Undergraduate / Graduate / Postgraduate (any discipline)

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or Medical Editor
Exposure to multiple medical specialties and transcription work types is mandatory

Technical & Professional Skills

Proficiency in eScription, eSone/M*Modal, Fluency Platform
Familiarity with additional transcription platforms is an added advantage
Preferably trained and/or certified Medical Transcriptionist
Strong medical terminology knowledge
Excellent listening, editing, and proofreading skills
Strong coordination and communication abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and within a team
Willingness to work evening/night shifts and weekly offs on non-weekend days
