Job Description:
IQVIA is hiring a Manager – Medical Data Review to lead and support clinical data quality initiatives across multiple studies. This role requires deep medical expertise to perform data trend analysis, ensure protocol compliance, and lead teams in delivering accurate and audit-ready clinical data. The ideal candidate will be an MBBS/MD with significant experience in clinical data sciences and demonstrated leadership in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform in-stream data trend analysis to ensure data integrity and protocol compliance.
Define and manage data capture requirements aligned with study protocols and reporting expectations.
Ensure audit readiness in collaboration with Clinical Compliance and Systems Validation Compliance teams.
Represent the Clinical Data Scientist function in cross-functional meetings, client meetings, and external discussions.
Track service performance, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Provide therapeutic training for project teams and participate in kick-off and ongoing meetings.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in data review and proactively contribute to quality improvement.
Manage direct reports, including performance appraisals, career development, and resolution of HR issues.
Continuously assess and improve data review processes for efficiency and quality.
Required Qualifications:
MBBS or MBBS + MD with 7–10 years of experience, including 5+ years in clinical data sciences.
Prior leadership experience within a CRO or pharmaceutical company.
Solid understanding of clinical and medical data, medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology.
Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication, client interaction, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong customer focus with the ability to resolve complex compliance or data issues.
Estimated Salary: ₹25,00,000 – ₹38,00,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
