Operations Associate II – Site & Patient Payments – Bangalore (Hybrid)

Position Summary:
As an Operations Associate II, you will be responsible for supporting the operational execution of investigator payment services for clinical trial projects. This mid-level role will involve interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage site payments, vendor records, contract data, and ongoing financial transactions. You'll play a vital part in ensuring contractual obligations are met with precision and efficiency.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate operational implementation of Site and Patient Payments services.

  • Maintain records for vendors, clinical sites, and Principal Investigators (PIs), including bank setup and user access.

  • Analyze clinical trial agreements and budgets; support review and import of contract data.

  • Process payment batches, invoices, and settlements as per Service Level Agreements.

  • Resolve payment-related queries using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Communicate effectively with Project Managers and stakeholders regarding status and deliverables.

  • Participate in project meetings and support implementation from initiation to closeout.

  • Escalate issues or make final decisions as appropriate.

  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and professionalism during interactions.


Quality and Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to SOP updates and process enhancements.

  • Adhere to organizational SOPs and departmental standards.

  • Support development of product roadmap features or enhancements for payment systems.


Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers in task completion.

  • Explore new process improvements for operational efficiency.

  • Participate in ongoing technical training provided by the company.


Required Education and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Technology (preferred).

  • Experience:

    • 3–5 years in an operations or investigator payment role.

    • Invoice processing and contract data entry experience preferred.

    • Background in clinical research or clinical trials highly desirable.


Key Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

  • Professional communication and customer service abilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.).

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or collaboratively.

  • Positive and adaptable mindset under dynamic work conditions.


Working Conditions:

  • Travel: 0–25%

  • Lifting: Up to 20 lbs

  • Environment: Prolonged computer work

  • Shifts: Willingness to work in shifts as needed

  • Hours: Standard 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, with flexibility


Estimated Salary: ₹6 – ₹9 LPA (based on experience and skillset)
