Job Overview

Syneos Health is hiring an experienced PCS Project Manager for its remote clinical operations team in India. The selected candidate will lead patient-centered service (PCS) projects from initiation through project close-out while ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, budget management, and seamless coordination between sponsors, CROs, sites, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

This role is ideal for professionals with prior experience in project management, clinical operations, patient support programs, or healthcare service coordination within the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage assigned PCS projects from project handover to successful study close-out

  • Ensure alignment of project execution with protocol requirements, patient needs, timelines, and sponsor expectations

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, sponsors, CROs, vendors, and research sites

  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, risks, budgets, and operational milestones using internal systems and project trackers

  • Coordinate with PCS Coordinators, finance teams, technology teams, and operational stakeholders for smooth project execution

  • Deliver study-specific training programs to project teams and support staff

  • Support the creation and management of patient-facing and site-facing documentation and reimbursement materials

  • Manage project invoicing, forecasting, financial reconciliation, and budget tracking activities

  • Conduct regular project review meetings, prepare reports, and monitor project KPIs

  • Collaborate with research nursing teams and other support divisions to ensure integrated patient support solutions

  • Identify operational improvement opportunities and implement best practices across patient engagement and global logistics processes


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Clinical Research, Healthcare Management, or related fields

  • 4–8 years of experience in Clinical Operations, Project Management, Patient Support Services, CRO operations, or healthcare project coordination

  • Strong understanding of clinical trial workflows, patient engagement strategies, and sponsor communication processes

  • Excellent project management, stakeholder communication, budgeting, and coordination skills

  • Ability to work independently in a remote global work environment

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards, SOPs, and healthcare operational processes is preferred
