Job Summary

The Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving sales targets by promoting a newly launched product in the Allergy/Pediatrics space to healthcare professionals within the Chicago territory. The role involves product education, territory management, relationship building, and adherence to compliance and ethical standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the product to physicians and other HCPs via in-person and group settings.

  • Educate medical staff on indications, benefits, and clinical use.

  • Maintain daily field activity (5 days/week), with planning and reporting as needed.

  • Execute strategic territory and regional sales plans.

  • Submit accurate sales call activities and expense reports on schedule.

  • Participate in corporate meetings, trainings, and product briefings.

  • Ensure strong call productivity and sales goal performance.

  • Build influential relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Travel as needed within the assigned territory, including overnights.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (required).

  • Minimum 2 years of recent pharmaceutical sales experience (required).

  • Experience in Pediatric or Allergy therapeutic areas (preferred).

  • Strong scientific comprehension and communication skills.

  • Track record of sales achievements.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

  • Problem-solving mindset and team-oriented attitude.

  • Willingness to travel as required.
