Job Summary
Accenture is hiring a Pharmacovigilance Services New Associate for its Life Sciences R&D vertical in Bengaluru. This entry-level position is perfect for fresh graduates in BSc or B.Pharmacy looking to build a career in Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety Surveillance. The role involves case processing, MedDRA coding, data entry, and ICSR management as per global regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities
Manage case identification, data entry, and MedDRA coding for ICSRs in the safety database.
Process and submit safety cases, including follow-ups, as per client and regulatory requirements.
Perform reconciliation of reports and manage Affiliate Mailbox operations.
Conduct written follow-up attempts for both serious and non-serious cases.
Ensure compliance with global pharmacovigilance and drug safety regulations.
Solve routine problems using established guidelines and SOPs.
Collaborate within the team under close supervision to meet process standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
BSc or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree.
0 to 2 years of relevant experience in Pharmacovigilance or Drug Safety.
Proficiency in English (International level).
Knowledge of Pharmacovigilance operations, ICSR handling, and MedDRA coding (preferred).
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts as required.
