Job Title: PE - Pharmacovigilance

Job Summary:
Join Cognizant’s dynamic team as a Pharmacovigilance Specialist, where your expertise in Generative AI will help revolutionize drug safety practices. In this hybrid role, you’ll collaborate across teams to optimize pharmacovigilance workflows and ensure patient safety worldwide.
Responsibilities:
Leverage Generative AI to analyze pharmacovigilance data and ensure accurate reporting of adverse events.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI insights, enhancing efficiency in safety workflows.
Monitor pharmaceutical product safety profiles; identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Maintain documentation of all pharmacovigilance activities, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Prepare safety reports and risk assessments to support data-driven decisions.
Conduct quality reviews of PV case processing data for completeness and accuracy.
Provide R&D teams with AI-derived insights to support product development.
Attend training sessions to stay current on developments in AI and pharmacovigilance.
Communicate clearly with stakeholders on safety issues and findings.
Uphold high standards of data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance.
Drive continuous process improvement and innovation in pharmacovigilance workflows.
Partner with IT teams to maintain AI tools and support smooth integration.
Proactively resolve challenges using a solution-focused approach.
Qualifications:
Practical experience in applying Generative AI to pharmacovigilance data.
Familiarity with R&D processes related to drug safety and efficacy.
Strong proficiency in PV case processing with excellent attention to detail.
Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Commitment to ongoing learning and adoption of AI and PV advancements.
Comfortable working in a hybrid setup (remote + in-office).
Strong analytical abilities and comfort working with large datasets.
Certifications:
Certification in Pharmacovigilance or an AI-related field is preferred.
