Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our clinical research team in Daytona Beach. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment and are committed to professional growth in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense investigational drugs following protocol and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and data integrity principles.

  • Assist in sterile compounding and pharmaceutical preparation under supervision.

  • Maintain accurate records of all pharmacy activities, including inventory, documentation, and reporting.

  • Support clinical study teams by coordinating medication logistics and ensuring timely delivery for study participants.

  • Follow laboratory safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth study operations.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in quality, R&D, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or hospital/long-term care pharmacy settings.

  • Familiarity with GDP, GMP, and data integrity standards.

  • Experience in sterile compounding or pharmaceutical manufacturing is highly preferred.

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) and/or Pharmacy Technician Certification is highly desired, in accordance with state regulations.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to learn complex technical procedures.

  • Adaptable, proactive, and committed to professional growth.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Laboratory and clinical setting exposure with occasional domestic travel.

  • Regular use of protective equipment such as gloves, gowns, and eyewear.

  • Ability to work upright for 6–8 hours per day.

  • Repetitive hand movements and manual dexterity required for lab operations.

  • Occasional crouching, stooping, bending, and twisting.

  • Light to moderate lifting (up to 15–20 lbs) and use of computer software.

  • Ability to maintain consistent attendance and work varied hours when required.
