Job Description:
The Process Coach – Coding is responsible for training new joiners on medical coding concepts and guidelines, ensuring they meet productivity and quality targets during their ramp-up period. This role involves continuous coaching, quality monitoring, and effective communication of feedback to trainees and team leads to facilitate early confirmation of new hires.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train new joiners on medical coding concepts, client specifications, and guidelines.

  • Monitor trainee productivity and quality output per OJT glide path/ramp-up targets.

  • Provide structured feedback and conduct one-on-one sessions for repeated errors.

  • Communicate quality control (QC) feedback effectively to trainees.

  • Keep trainees updated on the latest coding developments and guidelines.

  • Assist team leads in early confirmation of trainees by providing performance insights.

  • Collaborate with quality and operations teams to meet process targets.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Expertise in medical coding with specialty in OBGYN.

  • Strong coaching and training skills with varied teaching strategies.

  • Knowledge of quality processes and performance improvement methods.

  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and handle multiple trainees effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in medical coding (OBGYN specialty preferred).

  • Coding certification (CPC, CCS, COC, or AHIMA) is mandatory.

  • Any graduate.
