Role Overview:
We are seeking a Proofreader with 2–4 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare content editing. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy, clarity, and quality of promotional materials while adhering to client and brand style guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proofread and edit promotional materials for global pharmaceutical clients, checking language, grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency (tense), and alignment with brand/client style guidelines.

  • Format documents according to journal or congress guidelines as required.

  • Ensure compliance with style guides such as AMA Manual of Style, brand standards, and client-specific instructions.

  • Deliver high-quality edits consistently, exceeding client expectations.

  • Contribute to team initiatives, including knowledge sharing and documentation of editorial resources.

  • Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or English.

  • 2–4 years of relevant proofreading or copyediting experience in pharmaceutical content.

  • Excellent written and verbal English skills; TOEFL/IELTS scores preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.

  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical promotional content or scientific documentation.

  • Exposure to digital content standards or editorial workflows for life sciences.
