Job Summary
ICON plc is hiring a full-time Research Assistant (Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant) to support early-phase clinical trials in San Antonio, TX. This role involves direct participation in clinical trial activities such as data collection, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Ideal for candidates with certification and experience in allied health, this is a day-shift, on-site opportunity to contribute to innovative healthcare research.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with clinical trial planning and execution
Collect and manage patient data
Conduct literature reviews and basic data analysis
Maintain organized and compliant research documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet study timelines
Support creation of study reports, presentations, and manuscripts
Required Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Certification: CMA, Phlebotomy Technician, EMT, Paramedic, or LVN
Minimum 2 years of experience in allied healthcare settings preferred
Strong data management and documentation skills
Proficiency in research and data entry software
Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
