Job Summary
ICON plc, a global leader in clinical research and healthcare intelligence, is hiring a Research Assistant (Phlebotomist/CMA/CNA) to support clinical trial operations on a PRN (as-needed) basis in San Antonio, TX. This on-site role plays a vital part in collecting and managing accurate research data and supporting the execution of innovative clinical studies during weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in executing clinical research protocols, including data entry and documentation
Collect clinical samples and perform phlebotomy tasks as required
Support literature reviews and research analysis activities
Collaborate with clinical research teams to meet study timelines
Maintain research logs and ensure regulatory compliance
Prepare research reports, internal documentation, and presentations
Required Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, EMT, Paramedic, or LVN certification
Minimum 2 years of experience in allied healthcare settings (preferred)
Strong organizational and data management skills
Familiarity with research documentation and regulatory compliance
Proficient in data entry and use of research tools
Effective communication and team collaboration skills
