Role Overview

The RPA Lead will drive the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale automation solutions across Syngene’s functional units. This role focuses on identifying automation opportunities, implementing robotic process automation frameworks, and integrating artificial intelligence technologies to enhance operational efficiency and business outcomes.

The position requires strong expertise in automation platforms, cloud-based technologies, and hyperautomation frameworks. The RPA Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and business operations to deliver scalable automation solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Strategy and Implementation

  • Identify and prioritize automation opportunities using process mining and analytics tools such as Power Automate Process Advisor or Celonis.

  • Design and implement end-to-end robotic process automation solutions across multiple business functions.

  • Develop scalable automation workflows that enhance operational efficiency and improve process accuracy.

AI and Hyperautomation Integration

  • Integrate intelligent automation capabilities using technologies such as AI Builder, Azure Cognitive Services, and OpenAI APIs.

  • Implement intelligent document processing, natural language understanding, and automated decision-making solutions.

  • Deploy hyperautomation frameworks combining RPA, artificial intelligence, machine learning, low-code platforms, and advanced analytics to optimize complex enterprise processes.

Platform and Infrastructure Management

  • Configure and manage RPA infrastructure using Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop flows).

  • Ensure automation systems are secure, scalable, and compliant with organizational technology standards.

  • Integrate automation solutions with the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem including Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse.

  • Establish integrations with enterprise systems such as Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS), and ERP platforms.

Collaboration and Leadership

  • Work closely with IT teams, regulatory teams, quality assurance, and business units to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.

  • Lead automation initiatives across departments and ensure alignment with digital transformation strategies.

  • Mentor and guide automation developers and team members to promote innovation and continuous improvement.

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Power Platform including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse, and AI Builder.

  • Experience integrating automation solutions with Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI APIs, and machine learning models.

  • Knowledge of intelligent document processing and document intelligence technologies.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for advanced automation workflows.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and version control systems such as GitHub.

  • Understanding of enterprise hyperautomation architectures and process orchestration frameworks.

  • Ability to manage multiple automation projects simultaneously.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience working in complex enterprise environments, preferably within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated industries.
