Safety Associate – Pharmacovigilance (Kolkata)
Job Summary:
IQVIA is hiring a Safety Associate in Kolkata to manage pharmacovigilance activities, adverse event reporting, and safety data processing in compliance with global regulations and SOPs. This role is ideal for life science graduates with 1–1.5 years of experience in PV or healthcare data management.
Key Responsibilities:
Process safety data according to regulatory guidelines, SOPs, and project requirements.
Perform pharmacovigilance activities, including AE collection, tracking, coding, and narrative writing.
Ensure quality, productivity, and compliance with project timelines.
Maintain and track cases in safety databases as per project plan.
Identify and escalate quality issues to senior team members.
Mentor new team members when assigned.
Attend team meetings and report project challenges or progress.
Achieve 100% compliance with people and project processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or allied disciplines.
1–1.5 years of pharmacovigilance or safety data experience.
Good knowledge of medical terminology and global PV regulations.
Familiarity with safety databases and Microsoft Office tools.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
Flexibility to work in shifts and occasional travel.
