What Medical Affairs Does at Worldwide Clinical Trials:

Medical Affairs is a key function at Worldwide, playing an important role throughout the lifecycle of clinical investigations. It collaborates closely with various departments and provides support for medical and scientific principles across clinical development, regulatory submissions, medical monitoring, pharmacovigilance, and more.

Responsibilities:

As a Medical Director, you will:

Collaborate with the Medical & Safety project teams to process Serious Adverse Events (SAEs).
Provide medical input on clinical development programs, protocols, research papers, and client proposals.
Contribute to Business Development through feasibility assessments, proposal generation, and sponsor meetings.
Assist in preparing final study reports (CSRs) and other study documentation (protocols, ISS/ISEs).
Stay up-to-date on therapeutic and marketplace developments by attending conferences and reviewing literature.
Mentor medical staff and lead by example in ethics, compassion, and integrity.

Required Qualifications:

Medical Degree (with a focus in Psychiatry or Neurology).
At least 2 years of experience in medical monitoring within a CRO.
Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel, Access.
Strong spoken and written English skills.
Organizational and time management skills.
Presentation skills.
Valid passport and willingness to travel as required.
