Role Overview:
We are seeking a Scientific Editor with 4-5 years of experience in medical editing and scientific content review. The role is crucial for maintaining accuracy, clarity, and compliance in scientific documentation. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, analytical, and adept at managing complex scientific content while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and edit L-MACH content for grammar, punctuation, style, clarity, and scientific accuracy.

  • Ensure consistency of language and adherence to medical SOPs, including MCA procedures.

  • Critically evaluate the relevance and accuracy of scientific content across therapeutic areas.

  • Interpret and edit data, charts, and tables, ensuring statistical information is accurately presented.

  • Provide constructive feedback to stakeholders and address editorial queries.

  • Utilize editorial, proofreading, referencing, and document management tools effectively.

  • Adapt to changes in guidelines, regulations, best practices, tools, software, and processes.

  • Mentor and train junior team members on editorial best practices.

  • Perform data integrity reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance of all scientific content.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 4-5 years of relevant experience in scientific editing or medical writing.

  • Strong expertise in editing, proofreading, and data interpretation.

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.

  • Proficient in stakeholder communication, managing editorial queries, and collaborative work.

  • Adaptability to evolving standards, guidelines, and client requirements.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology, SOPs, and compliance regulations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and subject matter expertise.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in training and mentoring editorial or medical writing teams.

  • Familiarity with document management and referencing software.

  • Understanding of evolving scientific communication trends and regulatory requirements.
