About the Role:
Sanofi is looking for a Scientific Writer to join its Global Business Services hub in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for developing high-quality, scientifically accurate content including publications and medical education materials. The ideal candidate will collaborate with medical teams, healthcare professionals, and global stakeholders to ensure alignment and impact of medical content.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Development & Process Ownership:
Create scientific content such as manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and slide decks with limited supervision.
Support the end-to-end content development lifecycle in tools like PromoMats or iEnvision (previously Datavision/MATRIX).
Ensure timely and compliant documentation and content approval aligned with internal standards.
Develop and maintain therapeutic area expertise to deliver scientifically robust materials.
Provide strategic publication support and assist in conducting publication needs assessments.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including healthcare professionals, medical affairs teams, MSLs, and product managers.
Liaise with global scientific communication teams to identify and support publication needs.
Partner with vendors to ensure quality and timely content delivery.
Support & Mentorship:
Guide and assist junior writers on scientific writing best practices.
Help maintain a knowledge-sharing culture and foster collaborative work environments.
Continuous Improvement:
Analyze feedback and apply insights to enhance course content, delivery style, and publication strategy.
Contribute to the development of best practices and content planning improvements across therapeutic areas.
About You:
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in medical/scientific content development within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or academic setting.
Education:
Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a Medical Degree.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with publication submission systems, therapeutic area knowledge, and project management tools.
Working knowledge of global compliance standards and scientific referencing.
Soft Skills:
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong stakeholder management and ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
