Job Summary:
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Protein Biology Team to contribute to large-scale functional antibody validation with a focus on reagent quality and specificity. This role involves working on experimental design, data mining, immunoassays, and advanced imaging techniques to enable superior product validation and research utility.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute antibody validation experiments ensuring reproducibility and quality.
Understand target biology validation and develop data sets to differentiate products.
Plan and conduct experiments meticulously aligned to program goals.
Maintain accurate and timely records of experimental data.
Stay current with scientific literature related to antibody validation.
Present data effectively in written reports and oral presentations.
Participate actively in team meetings.
Demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to schedules.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Master’s degree with 2–5 years relevant experience OR
PhD in molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology, or biochemistry
Experience:
Familiarity with cell and molecular biology experimental workflows
Proven experience in protein assays and immunoassays such as:
Western blotting
Immunofluorescence
Immunohistochemistry
Flow cytometry
ELISA
Experience in protein-protein interaction assays (e.g., co-immunoprecipitation)
Ability to communicate research data and troubleshoot technical issues
Skills & Competencies:
Strong scientific proficiency in experimental planning and execution
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Meticulous record keeping and organizational skills
