Job Summary:

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Protein Biology Team to contribute to large-scale functional antibody validation with a focus on reagent quality and specificity. This role involves working on experimental design, data mining, immunoassays, and advanced imaging techniques to enable superior product validation and research utility.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute antibody validation experiments ensuring reproducibility and quality.

  • Understand target biology validation and develop data sets to differentiate products.

  • Plan and conduct experiments meticulously aligned to program goals.

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of experimental data.

  • Stay current with scientific literature related to antibody validation.

  • Present data effectively in written reports and oral presentations.

  • Participate actively in team meetings.

  • Demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to schedules.


Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • Master’s degree with 2–5 years relevant experience OR

  • PhD in molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology, or biochemistry

Experience:

  • Familiarity with cell and molecular biology experimental workflows

  • Proven experience in protein assays and immunoassays such as:

    • Western blotting

    • Immunofluorescence

    • Immunohistochemistry

    • Flow cytometry

    • ELISA

  • Experience in protein-protein interaction assays (e.g., co-immunoprecipitation)

  • Ability to communicate research data and troubleshoot technical issues


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong scientific proficiency in experimental planning and execution

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Meticulous record keeping and organizational skills

  • Team player with the ability to meet deadlines and handle priorities
