Team Overview:

Antibody Team focused on engineering and development of antibodies, emphasizing reagent quality and specificity. Core activities include design, development, purification, conjugation, and testing antibodies using cutting-edge tools and technologies for research applications.


Role Summary:

Contribute to molecular biology and sequencing core facilities within the antibody development team. Drive innovative molecular biology techniques to enable high-throughput recombinant antibody platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform antibody development and testing in a fast-paced environment.

  • Develop next-gen methodologies, vector designs, and cloning strategies to enhance high-throughput workflows.

  • Provide technical leadership and informal supervision to scientists.

  • Mentor and train junior scientists in research design, experimental execution, data interpretation, and presentation.

  • Drive conceptual development of protocols for transfer to operational teams.

  • Collaborate across teams and support functions like product management, program management, and business development.


Candidate Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • PhD with up to 3 years experience OR

  • Master’s degree with up to 8 years experience in relevant life sciences fields focusing on molecular biology, sequencing, and antibody development technologies.

Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in antibody development platforms (hybridoma, display, single B cell, etc.).

  • Broad molecular biology knowledge: vector design, next-gen cloning, miniaturization for high-throughput gene-to-protein workflows.

  • Experience with Sanger and next-gen sequencing technologies.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with automation and establishing new protocols is desirable.

  • Experience in managing molecular biology/sequencing core facilities is a plus.

  • Publication record and independent research experience preferred.

  • Proficient with MS Office and statistical software (e.g., Prism).
