Job Summary:
The Senior Analyst will support Novartis’ Commercial Design & Advisory group by providing field force analytics and consulting support for internal global customers. This role involves advanced analytical modeling, data interpretation, and business recommendations that directly impact sales execution and field resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute complex analytics projects related to:
Go-to-market and commercial strategy design
Field force sizing and structuring (sales, access, and medical teams)
Optimal resource deployment using analytical tools and algorithms
Segmentation, targeting, and call plan development
Incentive scheme design and performance evaluation
Ad-hoc analytics projects driven by business needs
Design and develop analytical models using tools such as SQL, R, Python, VBA
Summarize and present findings via PowerPoint presentations
Build SOPs, checklists, and documentation for process efficiency
Support knowledge sharing, onboarding, and internal training initiatives
Ensure regular communication with stakeholders to report progress, KPIs, and best practices
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Analytical, or related fields
3+ years of experience in commercial execution, pharma consulting, or related roles
Proficiency with MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Hands-on experience with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python, VBA)
Understanding of pharmaceutical business models and regulatory context
Familiarity with datasets such as IQVIA Exponent, DDD, HCOS, APLD is a plus
Excellent communication skills; fluency in English is required
