Role Overview

The Senior Associate – Evidence Synthesis, COA will support patient-centered clinical research by generating high-quality evidence to inform Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) strategies. You will contribute to disease modeling, COA instrument selection, psychometric assessment, and evidence dissemination to support regulatory and market access decisions.

You will work closely with Global COA leads, PID&HVT, Clinical, HEVA, RWE, and Market Access teams to deliver robust evidence aligned with Sanofi’s strategic objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Evidence Generation & COA Strategy

  • Lead and execute evidence synthesis projects, including search strategy development, literature screening, and data extraction.

  • Generate insights on disease understanding and treatment paradigms through primary and secondary research.

  • Develop and validate fit-for-purpose COA instruments for clinical studies, including psychometric analyses.

  • Prepare scientific reports, regulatory documents, publications, and internal communications.

  • Contribute to COA endpoint strategy development supporting regulatory submissions and value messaging.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders across global time zones.

  • Support teams in translating COA evidence into regulatory, clinical, and market access decisions.

  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) to guide project execution and optimize COA methodologies.

Process & Innovation

  • Contribute to COA evidence generation processes, templates, and best practices.

  • Identify opportunities to innovate COA strategies and improve evidence generation efficiency.

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines (FDA, EMA) and internal scientific standards.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Guide and support team members in project execution and COA-related methodologies.

  • Provide expertise in literature reviews, qualitative research, patient experience elicitation, and COA instrument validation.


Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in COA science, evidence synthesis, or endpoint strategy implementation in pharmaceuticals, CROs, or academia.

  • Strong analytical skills to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data.

  • Experience in COA data analysis, validation, or development of new COA instruments.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and writing skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams.

  • Exceptional English proficiency (spoken and written).
