Job Summary
ICON is seeking a highly skilled Senior Biostatistician I to join its global clinical research team. This remote position offers the opportunity to lead statistical design, analysis, and interpretation in pivotal clinical studies. The role involves authoring analysis plans, preparing key statistical inputs, and contributing to the development of study-level statistical strategies. Ideal for professionals with expertise in SAS and advanced statistical methodologies in drug development and healthcare research.
Key Responsibilities
Design, analyze, and interpret clinical trial data using advanced statistical techniques and software.
Develop and author statistical analysis plans and related documentation.
Provide statistical inputs for key study documents and presentations.
Contribute to study-level statistical strategies and engage with cross-functional teams.
Anticipate and solve statistical challenges in clinical trials with minimal supervision.
Lead submission efforts confidently and independently in regulatory environments.
Participate actively in matrix team meetings as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5–8 years of experience in SAS programming and statistical analysis.
Strong capability to function as Study Statistician with minimal oversight.
Deep knowledge of complex statistical designs, inference methodologies, and data handling (e.g., Bayesian, Futility & Predictive Inference, Estimands, Missing Data handling).
Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach to addressing statistical challenges.
Good communication and teamwork skills across multidisciplinary environments.
