Job Summary
Syneos Health is hiring a skilled Senior Clinical Programmer (Veeva/Rave) for its Pune location. This role demands expertise in clinical programming, CRF design, and EDC platforms such as Rave and Veeva. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience managing end-to-end clinical programming tasks, including database builds, edit checks, migrations, and custom function programming. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain clinical databases using Medidata, Rave, Oracle OC/RDC, Oracle Inform, and SAS.
Create and validate specifications, programs, and CRFs.
Lead clinical programming activities for multiple concurrent studies.
Provide technical and application support to programming staff and project teams.
Serve as subject matter expert for tools like Oracle Inform, MDSOL Rave, Oracle RDC.
Ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards and support audits.
Monitor scope of work, participate in budget reviews, and manage change orders.
Conduct system integration, updates, and user acceptance testing.
Offer leadership and guidance to junior programming staff.
Participate in departmental and project meetings actively.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5–8 years in clinical programming, preferably with Rave or Veeva.
Proficiency in Study/DB Build, eCRF Build, Edit Checks, Migrations, PPC.
Experience with Rave EDC Custom Functions; SAS preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Familiarity with PL/SQL, SAS, C#, or VB desirable.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.
