Job Summary
IQVIA is hiring a (Senior) Data Team Lead to manage the full lifecycle of clinical data management (CDM) services across global trials. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for experienced CDM professionals seeking to lead complex projects with world-class pharma clients while leveraging cutting-edge technology and process innovation. The role offers flexible scheduling, international collaboration, and leadership responsibilities within a highly regulated, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end data management delivery for single and multi-service clinical trials
Lead CDM project teams ensuring quality, timelines, and client satisfaction
Drive project planning, execution, communication, and close-out activities
Serve as the main client contact for data management deliverables
Develop and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
Monitor budget, scope of work (SOW), and financial performance
Identify and resolve data quality issues and implement process improvements
Support innovation, automation, and operational excellence initiatives
Mentor and guide CDM staff on projects and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
For Data Team Lead:
Bachelor’s degree in Health, Clinical, Biological, or Mathematical Sciences
Minimum 5 years of clinical data management experience
3+ years of experience as CDM project lead
For Senior Data Team Lead:
Bachelor’s degree in Health, Clinical, Biological, or Mathematical Sciences
Minimum 7 years of CDM experience with 5+ years as CDM lead (preferred)
General Requirements:
Deep understanding of GCP, CDM processes, and clinical trial data lifecycle
Proven leadership in managing CDM projects from initiation to close-out
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently in a virtual, cross-functional environment
