Senior Executive – Clinical and Quality

Role Summary

The Senior Executive – Clinical and Quality is responsible for driving clinical excellence, quality compliance, patient safety, and continuous improvement initiatives across dialysis clinics. The role focuses on staff training, clinical audits, regulatory compliance, incident management, quality improvement programs, patient education, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure delivery of safe, standardized, and high-quality patient care.

The position works closely with clinic managers, nephrologists, quality teams, and corporate stakeholders to improve clinical outcomes, enhance patient satisfaction, and ensure adherence to NABH, ISO, and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Training & Development

  • Conduct structured training programs for:

    • Nurses

    • Dialysis Technicians

    • Clinical Staff

    • Point-of-Care (POC) Teams

  • Ensure implementation of standardized clinical practices across all clinics.

  • Provide hands-on clinical guidance and mentorship to staff.

  • Improve patient outcomes through competency-based training initiatives.

  • Conduct regular clinic visits as per approved monthly tour plans.

Compliance & Regulatory Management

  • Ensure compliance with:

    • NABH Standards

    • ISO Requirements

    • Internal Clinical Policies

    • Patient Safety Guidelines

  • Ensure all clinical staff maintain required certifications and competencies.

  • Monitor compliance gaps and coordinate corrective actions.

  • Ensure timely closure of safety-related non-conformities (NCs).

Quality Improvement Programs (QIP)

  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to identify gaps in patient care.

  • Develop and implement targeted quality improvement initiatives.

  • Monitor key clinical quality indicators including:

    • Kt/V Adequacy

    • Infection Rates

    • Hospitalization Rates

    • Mortality Rates

  • Recommend corrective and preventive actions for quality enhancement.

Clinical Audits & Quality Assurance

  • Conduct quality audits as per the annual audit calendar.

  • Perform onsite assessments of dialysis centers.

  • Identify operational and clinical improvement opportunities.

  • Deliver focused training based on audit findings.

  • Monitor implementation of corrective actions.

Incident Management & Risk Reduction

  • Analyze:

    • Incident Reports

    • Adverse Events

    • Safety Trends

    • Clinical Deviations

  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical incidents.

  • Develop preventive training interventions.

  • Promote a culture of patient safety and incident reporting.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with:

    • Clinic Managers

    • Nephrologists

    • Infection Control Teams

    • Quality Teams

    • Corporate Leadership

  • Participate in meetings with hospital stakeholders.

  • Align quality initiatives with organizational objectives.

Patient Satisfaction & Engagement

  • Support initiatives to improve patient experience and retention.

  • Deliver patient education programs related to:

    • Dialysis Care

    • Dietary Management

    • Infection Prevention

    • Vascular Access Care

  • Enhance patient awareness and treatment compliance.

Emergency Preparedness & Mock Drills

  • Plan and execute emergency preparedness programs.

  • Conduct mock drills including:

    • Fire Safety

    • Cardiac Arrest Response

    • Emergency Evacuation Procedures

  • Assess staff readiness and improve emergency response capability.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain records of:

    • Training Programs

    • Attendance Sheets

    • Competency Assessments

    • Certifications

    • Audit Findings

  • Prepare and submit:

    • Quality Reports

    • Clinical Outcome Reports

    • Compliance Dashboards

    • Clinic Visit Reports

  • Document observations and action plans from clinic visits.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Life Sciences, Allied Health Sciences, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NABH Quality Training Certification

  • ISO Internal Auditor Certification

  • Patient Safety Certification

  • Infection Control Training

Experience

  • 3–8 years of experience in:

    • Clinical Quality

    • Healthcare Quality Assurance

    • Dialysis Operations

    • Hospital Quality Management

    • Clinical Training & Compliance
