Job Summary:
As a Senior Expert – Science & Technology, you will play a critical role in developing high-quality oral solid and liquid dosage forms. The role involves managing technical project activities, applying advanced scientific expertise, and collaborating across international project teams to support early discovery and pharmaceutical development for global patient impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage complex R&D projects in drug product (DP) development with a focus on oral dosage forms
Ensure robust formulation and process development using QbD and risk analysis methodologies
Collaborate in cross-functional, international project teams and represent Pharmaceutical Development in external partnerships
Oversee optimization, scale-up, validation, and documentation to support global drug registrations
Handle GMP-related activities including manufacturing oversight, documentation, and quality systems
Manage clinical and technical supply campaigns, as well as tech transfers to internal and third-party production sites
Contribute to the innovation and supervision of new technology or scientific development initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
PhD, M.Tech, or M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Technology or Pharmaceutics
8+ years (PhD) or 12+ years (M.Pharm) of pharmaceutical industry experience
Minimum 5 years in formulation development, particularly oral dosage forms
Strong knowledge of QbD, biopharmaceutics, and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
Familiarity with GMP practices, safety standards, and regulatory expectations
Solid technical documentation and data management skills
Experience with scientific tools, technical software, and strong presentation skills
Comfort working in international, multidisciplinary project environments
