Senior Managing Consultant – Life Sciences & Pharma Consulting (10+ Yrs Exp)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Managing Consultant to join Navitas Life Sciences and lead high-level consultancy projects within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector. This strategic role demands 10+ years of industry or consulting experience, including leadership in client relations, business development, and project execution. If you excel at delivering complex solutions, managing key accounts, and mentoring teams, this is the perfect opportunity to drive impactful change in the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a portfolio of complex consultancy projects to ensure innovative, client-focused solutions.
Act as the primary client contact, overseeing multiple projects from initiation to completion.
Apply thought leadership, provide new insights, and develop fresh service concepts.
Ensure robust financial control, budgeting, and project profitability.
Drive business development efforts contributing $500K–$1M revenue via lead generation, proposal development, and client negotiations.
Manage 3–4 key accounts, expanding client relationships and securing repeat business.
Identify new market opportunities through industry networking and market intelligence.
Lead internal initiatives, including strategic projects and business improvement activities.
Mentor and guide 2–6 project team members and 1–2 direct reports, enhancing team capability and performance.
Foster a culture of feedback, coaching, and professional growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Life Sciences or consulting roles:
6–8 years in a senior consulting capacity.
3 years in Life Sciences/Pharma industry roles.
3 years in business development roles.
Expertise in at least one of the following:
Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance
Clinical Development Processes
Regulatory Affairs & Labelling
Risk Management, Quality, and Compliance
Advanced consulting methodologies and project management tools proficiency.
Strong business development record ($500K–$1M+ revenue targets).
Exceptional stakeholder and senior client relationship management skills.
Leadership in team coaching, mentoring, recruitment, and performance development.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
High adaptability, resilience, and the ability to manage ambiguity.
