Job Summary
Sanofi is hiring a Senior Scientific Writer in Hyderabad, India, to lead the creation of advanced scientific publications and medical education content. As part of the Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) team, you will develop specialized materials such as manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and slide decks, working closely with global medical stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced medical writers who excel in therapeutic domain expertise, content strategy, and regulatory-compliant publication development within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities
Create complex scientific and medical content without supervision, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and slide decks
Manage the end-to-end content development process, including approvals via tools like PromoMats/iEnvision
Maintain deep expertise in the assigned therapeutic area(s)
Review and coach junior scientific writers; promote best practices within the writing team
Develop customized publication materials aligned with global medical communication goals
Support medical communication strategies through content planning and execution
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and internal teams to gather insights and feedback
Coordinate with vendors for deliverables and maintain high content quality standards
Leverage training tools to enhance delivery of educational content
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience in medical or scientific content creation within pharma, healthcare, or academia
Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field
Proven experience with publication planning, scientific writing, and project management
Strong command of scientific language and medical writing conventions
Familiarity with PromoMats, iEnvision, or similar platforms
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration capabilities
Ability to work independently and lead junior team members
