As a Senior Scientific Writer, you will be a part of the Global Scientific Communications Content Hub. This team supports the creation of medical communications, medical education content, and medical information resources.
Independently develop high-quality medical information documents including:
Global Response Documents (GRDs)
Medical Inquiry responses
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Ensure all content is developed in alignment with internal processes and timelines.
Collaborate closely with Global Medical Units across therapeutic areas:
Oncology (preferred)
Neurology & Immunology
Fertility
Cardio-metabolic
Endocrinology
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Content Hub and Medical Information teams.
Manage multiple content types and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
Monitor scientific communication trends and bring innovation to content development.
Analyze and interpret complex scientific data to generate accurate and meaningful content.
3+ years of relevant experience in scientific writing within a pharma, biotech, or agency setting (for Senior role).
5+ years of experience required for Expert-level roles.
Advanced degree (M.Sc., PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) in life sciences, medicine, or related discipline.
Therapeutic area expertise in Oncology is preferred; other areas include Neurology, Immunology, Fertility, Cardio-metabolic, and Endocrinology.
Demonstrated ability to produce a wide range of scientific content types.
Strong track record of scientific accuracy and clarity in writing.
Proven analytical skills to work with complex scientific datasets.
Awareness of emerging trends in scientific and medical communications.
