Purpose of the Role
As a Senior Scientific Writer – Medical Information, you will be part of the Global Scientific Communications Content Hub. This cross-functional team is responsible for developing medical information content, supporting global medical units across Oncology, Neurology & Immunology, Fertility, Cardio-metabolic, and Endocrinology.
You will independently create high-quality, scientifically accurate, and compliant medical documents that support internal and external stakeholders across the global Healthcare business.
Key Responsibilities
✍️ Medical Writing & Content Development
Independently create and maintain medical information documents, including:
Global Response Documents (GRDs)
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Custom Medical Inquiries
Ensure scientific accuracy, compliance, and alignment with internal standards.
🔄 Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with:
Global Medical Units
Regulatory Affairs
Pharmacovigilance
Legal and Compliance
Participate in team meetings, share best practices, and contribute to global initiatives.
📈 Quality & Innovation
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within Scientific Communications and Medical Information teams.
Stay current with scientific communication trends and adapt accordingly.
Who You Are
🎓 Education
Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related field (Master’s or higher preferred).
💼 Experience
3+ years of relevant medical writing experience in Pharma, Biotech, or Medical Communications agencies for Senior-level roles.
5+ years for Expert-level positions.
Demonstrated expertise in at least one therapeutic area:
Oncology (preferred)
Neurology & Immunology
Fertility
Cardio-metabolic and Endocrinology

Proven success in independently writing diverse content types (GRDs, FAQs, responses, etc.)
Ability to handle multiple projects with strong time management and prioritization.
