Summary:

As a Solution Design Manager, you will serve as a key innovator and business analyst, transforming business challenges into valuable, technology-driven solutions. Your role involves designing, describing, and implementing strategies that bridge the gap between business problems and technology solutions for the PSP. With a keen business sense and cutting-edge technical expertise, you will drive changes that enhance business success and integrate transformative solutions into standard practices.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Business and Technology Integration: Translate business challenges into effective products, services, and customer experiences. Lead the agile development and implementation of solutions across your product lines.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Challenge the status quo and influence stakeholders by leveraging industry trends, best practices, and advanced technologies. Aim to deliver exceptional business value.
  • Team and Process Management: Manage technology and engineering teams, as well as internal and external partners, to re-engineer processes and develop customer-focused technology solutions.
  • Specification Development: Establish and oversee the process for developing solution specifications from business requirements. Define metrics and KPIs to measure success.
  • Algorithm Development: Create and implement algorithms for precision targeting. Continuously measure and optimize these algorithms for quality and scalability.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with business partners and engineering teams to create project timelines, milestones, and communication plans. Contribute to the execution and testing of analytics applications, including validation and user training.
  • Project Execution: Lead projects through ambiguity with strong change management practices. Utilize agile methodologies and design thinking to drive innovation and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Innovation in Clinical Trials: Contribute to the design and implementation of solutions to enhance the feasibility and efficiency of clinical trials.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Successful delivery of operations and solutions, demonstrating improvements in productivity, speed, or quality. Focus on accelerating trial cycle times.
  • Effective implementation of changes, as measured by durability and achievement of efficiency and productivity targets.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Work Experience: Proven experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry, including critical negotiations and operations management. Ability to operate autonomously in complex, matrixed environments.
