Job Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Specialty Pharmaceutical Representative – Women’s Health to promote innovative pharmaceutical products within the assigned Atlanta North territory. This field-based sales role focuses on engaging OB/GYN healthcare professionals, clinical staff, and key decision-makers to drive product awareness, adoption, and sales performance.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong territory management capabilities, clinical product knowledge, and relationship-building skills to effectively communicate product value, safety, and approved indications. This position plays a critical role in supporting healthcare providers and improving patient outcomes through strategic engagement and evidence-based product promotion.

Key Responsibilities

Territory Sales Management

  • Promote assigned women’s health products to OB/GYNs and healthcare providers within the designated territory.

  • Execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets and performance objectives.

  • Analyze territory performance data to identify growth opportunities and optimize market penetration.

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

Healthcare Provider Engagement

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, office staff, and decision-makers.

  • Conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations to communicate product benefits, safety profiles, and clinical value.

  • Educate healthcare professionals to support appropriate patient use and product adoption.

  • Provide consistent and compliant product information aligned with regulatory standards.

Business Development and Market Insights

  • Identify and address market opportunities within the assigned geography.

  • Monitor competitive activities and industry trends to inform sales strategies.

  • Utilize sales force automation tools and CRM systems to manage customer interactions and territory planning.

Territory Operations and Compliance

  • Manage territory logistics, scheduling, and reporting activities.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and ethical sales practices.

  • Travel within the territory as required to maintain customer engagement.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or higher from an accredited institution.

  • Preferred fields of study include business, life sciences, or clinical disciplines.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of pharmaceutical sales, medical device sales, healthcare sales, or field-based B2B sales experience.

  • Alternatively, clinical experience such as Labor and Delivery Nurse or healthcare professional with established relationships with OB/GYN providers in the territory may be considered.

  • Demonstrated track record of measurable sales performance is preferred.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical sales processes and territory management.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals.

  • Ability to analyze sales data and implement strategic actions.

  • Strong business judgment and ability to work independently in a field environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with Sales Force Automation (SFA) or CRM platforms is preferred.

  • Ability to travel approximately 30% within a defined geographic radius, including occasional overnight travel.
