Position Overview:

As a Sr Healthcare Economics Consultant – Medical Management Reporting, you will be responsible for designing and developing a high-quality reporting suite to support medical management, utilization trends, cost reduction, and performance measures. This role involves in-depth data analysis, business intelligence reporting, and collaboration with clinical and operational teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive reporting suite for utilization management, process adherence, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Translate clinical and operational needs into actionable, technical reporting solutions.

  • Perform detailed data analysis; develop complex SQL queries to identify drivers of medical cost and membership trends.

  • Follow best practices in data visualization and maintain reporting templates and documentation.

  • Validate and ensure the accuracy of data outputs.

  • Build and manage a portfolio of interactive dashboards.

  • Proactively identify issues, communicate development concerns, and propose solutions.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of healthcare experience

  • 5+ years of experience with healthcare claims data in a data warehouse environment

  • 5+ years of experience in data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects, or similar tools)

  • 5+ years of experience with SQL/Snowflake or similar (SQL Server, Oracle, SAS, Teradata)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Agile Scrum/Kanban environments (Rally)

  • Familiarity with utilization management reporting

  • Proficiency with Tableau

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and raise issues effectively with potential solutions


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $89,800 to $176,700 annually
