Role Overview

The Pharmacovigilance Supervisor plays a key leadership role in drug safety monitoring and adverse event reporting for clinical trials and marketed products.

You will ensure:

  • Patient safety

  • Regulatory compliance

  • High-quality pharmacovigilance operations

  • Efficient coordination across teams


Key Responsibilities

1. Pharmacovigilance Operations Management

  • Supervise daily safety reporting activities

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of adverse events

  • Manage safety reporting workflows


2. Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with:

    • Global pharmacovigilance regulations

    • Internal SOPs and guidelines

  • Oversee submission of safety reports to regulatory authorities


3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with:

    • Clinical operations teams

    • Regulatory affairs teams

    • Other cross-functional stakeholders

  • Optimize pharmacovigilance processes through collaboration


4. Safety Reporting & Submissions

  • Manage safety case processing and reporting workflow

  • Ensure timely submission of safety data to regulatory bodies


5. Team Leadership & Training

  • Provide leadership to pharmacovigilance team members

  • Train and mentor team on:

    • Safety reporting standards

    • Best practices in drug safety


Candidate Profile

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field

Experience

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in:

    • Pharmacovigilance

    • Drug safety

    • Clinical trial or post-marketing safety

  • Prior experience in team management required


Skills Required

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Deep understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills

  • Strong organizational ability

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
