Role Overview
WWS is seeking a Trainee RCO Associate – Medical Coding to support medical coding and healthcare revenue cycle operations. The role involves reviewing clinical documentation, assigning accurate medical codes, and supporting insurance claim processing in compliance with regulatory and coding standards.
This position provides an excellent opportunity for life sciences graduates and entry-level professionals to build a career in medical coding, healthcare documentation, and revenue cycle management.
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret medical records and clinical documentation for coding purposes.
Assign accurate medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and healthcare services.
Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with industry standards and guidelines.
Extract relevant clinical information from documentation for coding and billing processes.
Support clean claim creation and submission for insurance reimbursement.
Maintain data accuracy and quality throughout the coding process.
Ensure adherence to healthcare documentation and compliance requirements.
Required Skills and Competencies
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is preferred.
Basic understanding of healthcare documentation and coding processes.
Proficiency in computer applications and data entry tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy.
Eligibility Criteria
