Job Overview

Syneos Health is hiring a results-driven Virtual Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to lead remote sales engagement across a defined healthcare territory. This opportunity is ideal for experienced pharmaceutical sales professionals with strong specialty sales expertise and proven success in virtual selling environments.

As a Virtual Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, you will execute outbound sales and marketing initiatives targeting physicians, pulmonologists, allergists, nurse practitioners, and clinic personnel. Your primary objective will be to increase product awareness, deliver clinical education, and drive adoption within assigned healthcare accounts.

This role combines territory ownership, strategic account management, and advanced digital engagement strategies to deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required

  • Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience

  • Specialty pharmaceutical sales experience required

  • Biologics and buy-and-bill experience required

  • At least 1 year of virtual or inside healthcare sales experience preferred

  • Demonstrated success in customer engagement and relationship building through e-promotion and digital channels

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage your virtual territory as a business leader, developing and executing a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed targets

  • Conduct outbound calls, virtual meetings, and digital interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs)

  • Educate providers and clinical staff on disease state knowledge and product-specific clinical data

  • Present complex scientific information clearly, accurately, and in a compliant manner

  • Apply advanced virtual selling techniques to influence HCP behavior and drive patient-focused outcomes

  • Develop structured daily and weekly call plans for optimal territory coverage

  • Perform effective pre-call planning and post-call analysis to enhance sales performance

  • Accurately document interactions in CRM systems and comply with internal business rules

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key healthcare decision-makers

  • Manage territory budgets to support marketing and promotional activities
