Job Summary

Syneos Health is seeking an experienced Virtual Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to drive remote sales engagement and territory growth within a defined healthcare market. This position is designed for high-performing pharmaceutical sales professionals with specialty sales expertise and a proven ability to influence healthcare providers through virtual and digital channels.

In this role, you will lead outbound pharmaceutical sales initiatives, promote product awareness, and deliver compliant clinical education to physicians and healthcare professionals. The position requires strong strategic planning, advanced virtual selling capabilities, and a results-oriented mindset.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required

  • Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience

  • Specialty pharmaceutical sales experience required

  • Biologics and buy-and-bill experience required

  • At least 1 year of virtual or inside healthcare sales experience preferred

  • Demonstrated success in remote customer engagement and relationship development

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the business owner for your assigned virtual territory, developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve or exceed sales targets

  • Conduct outbound calls, virtual meetings, and digital engagements with physicians, pulmonologists, allergists, nurse practitioners, and clinic staff

  • Communicate complex clinical and product data clearly to support informed prescribing decisions

  • Apply advanced virtual selling strategies to drive engagement and patient-centered outcomes

  • Execute structured pre-call planning and post-call analysis to optimize territory performance

  • Develop daily and weekly call schedules to ensure comprehensive account coverage

  • Maintain accurate documentation in CRM systems and comply with internal policies and healthcare regulations

  • Build and sustain professional relationships with key healthcare decision-makers

  • Manage territory budgets to support marketing and promotional activities
