Role Overview

Clarivate is hiring an Associate Content Analyst to support its academic and government-focused content platforms. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who are detail-oriented and interested in research data curation, scholarly publishing workflows, and metadata management.

The position plays a key role in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and usability of researcher profiles and bibliographic records that support global research discovery and analytics solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual curation and validation of researcher profiles, ensuring accurate authorship attribution across journals, affiliations, and publication histories.

  • Review, interpret, and clean bibliographic and scholarly metadata, including article titles, journal names, editorial details, and peer-review information.

  • Use SQL queries and internal dashboards to extract, analyze, and validate data, identifying inconsistencies, duplicates, or anomalies.

  • Evaluate and validate AI-generated authorship suggestions within a human-in-the-loop curation model, ensuring high confidence before approval.

  • Investigate and resolve profile-related customer queries through structured research and editorial corrections.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve duplicate, incomplete, or conflicting records across platforms.

  • Ensure all content updates meet editorial quality standards, accuracy benchmarks, and turnaround timelines.


Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Undergraduate degree in any discipline.

  • Preference given to candidates from Computer Science, Basic Sciences, Information Science, or related fields.

Experience:

  • Fresh graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience in content operations, publishing, data curation, or metadata-related roles.


Core Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail with analytical and research-oriented thinking.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • High typing accuracy and comfort working with online tools, dashboards, and spreadsheets.

  • Ability to follow structured editorial guidelines and adapt to evolving instructions.

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work under deadlines.


Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with academic publishing workflows, editorial processes, or scholarly metadata standards.

  • Prior exposure to research databases, content management systems, or publishing platforms.

  • Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying tools.

  • Experience working with structured datasets or content quality checks.


Work Conditions

  • Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Hybrid)

  • Working Hours: 9 hours per day (including 1-hour break)

  • Work Days: Monday to Friday
