Job Opportunity: Associate – Intellectual Property Management (IPM)

Location: Global | Industry: Biopharmaceuticals

Role Highlights:

  • Conduct patent searches and maintain IP databases to identify and mitigate risks for product launches.
  • Collaborate with R&D to develop alternative processes and ensure compliance with IP laws.
  • Draft, file, and prosecute patents while preparing non-infringement opinions.
  • Monitor global IP litigation, regulatory changes, and patent law trends to align with launch strategies.
  • Create prior art searches and invalidation grounds for IP challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s/Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Life Sciences.
  • Experience: 5–6 years (Master’s) or 2–3 years (Ph.D.) in biopharmaceutical IP.
  • Skills:
    • Technical: Deep understanding of biotechnology processes and IP laws.
    • Behavioral: Analytical, detail-oriented, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
