Job Summary
Pfizer is hiring a motivated Associate Scientist for its Analytical Research & Development team in Chennai. This full-time role is ideal for M.Pharm or M.Sc (Chemistry) graduates with 0 to 2 years of experience. Key Responsibilities
Conduct analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products
Generate accurate and adequate analytical data
Prepare reference, working, and impurity standards
Handle chromatography and spectroscopy instruments: HPLC, UV-Vis, FT-IR, KF titrator
Ensure timely completion of assigned training modules and skill evaluations
Maintain lab safety and compliance protocols
Monitor availability of consumables and maintain lab readiness
Document research activities in line with GDP, cGMP, and GLP guidelines
Support method development and stability analysis studies
Required Skills & Qualifications
M.Pharm or M.Sc in Chemistry or a related field
0 to 2 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical R&D
Proficiency in analytical techniques: UV-Vis, FT-IR, HPLC, KF titrator
Strong understanding of cGMP, GLP, GDP, and pharma regulatory standards
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and contribute to team goals
Good documentation and data interpretation skills
