Role Overview
We are seeking Clinical Call Center Representatives (On-Call) to engage potential study participants for Phase 1 healthy volunteer studies. This position requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends. Training will be conducted on-site at our Dallas clinic for four weeks (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CDT).

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls to potential study participants.

  • Provide clear and accurate study information to participants.

  • Phone screen participants according to provided study-specific scripts.

  • Enter participant demographic and medical history information into the database.

  • Schedule and confirm screening appointments for qualified volunteers.

  • Coordinate with the screening department to ensure all recruitment information is complete.

  • Respond to participant inquiries via Fortrea CRU email account as required.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support recruitment operations.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (USA).

  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service or call center operations.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in computer use and database management.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

  • Previous experience in clinical research or healthcare call centers.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to sit for extended periods.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively via phone and email.
