Job Description
IQVIA is seeking a Clinical DB Validation Analyst to support the validation of clinical databases and ensure the efficient, high-quality delivery of data management services. This role involves conducting testing activities, managing validation projects, and supporting Validation Team Leads. The Analyst may act as a team lead under the supervision of the Manager and contribute to process improvements and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Testing Activities: Independently conduct testing for Edit Checks, SAS listings, transfer programs, and custom reports using platforms like Inform, RAVE, OCRDC, and Oracle Clinical.
Database Expertise: Possess advanced understanding of database structures and ensure testing activities are conducted with high expertise.
Quality Control: Perform eCRF and Time & Events QC as per the QC checklist.
Documentation: Support in the creation of test cases and ensure all relevant documentation is updated in a timely manner.
Validation Project Support: Assist the Validation Team Lead in managing validation projects and take responsibility for project delivery.
Process Adherence: Ensure compliance with validation processes and best practices, and contribute to their creation or review.
Communication: Communicate project status to relevant stakeholders and escalate issues when necessary.
Knowledge Sharing: Conduct knowledge sharing and lessons learned sessions regularly.
Mentorship: Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on testing activities.
Metrics Support: Provide support to the Validation Team Lead or Manager in reporting metrics for validation projects.
Process Improvement: Identify and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Bachelor in Technology (Required).
Experience: 2-4 years of relevant clinical DB testing experience in CDMS platforms, with a total of 4+ years of experience (Required).
